The Milk and Honey Event is usually geared towards brides-to-be seeking romantic wedding inspiration. Their annual event is a curated experience where brides get to meet a select group of ideal vendors and see a full wedding event in action. The team behind Milk and Honey was forced to pivot this year. Instead, they decided to invite a select group of photographers to capture the magic. And then the images could be shared with future brides.
I was fortunate enough to be one of the photographers at this editorial. This editorial at Westwood Barns drew inspiration from the soft spring colors found in the almond orchards in central California. The creative team behind this shoot collaborated on multiple vignettes of a classic, romantic wedding. The timing coincided perfectly with the blooming almond blossoms, creating an ethereal look for one of the vignettes, referred to as “Blue Sky Kind of Love.”
I hope that Milk & Honey will be able to return to its original setup soon so that brides are able to see all of the beauty in person! Until then, I hope you enjoy these images I captured from this year’s revised event.
