Tivoli Italian Villa Wedding

Inspired by colorful wildflowers, Michelle and Chad’s wedding at Tivoli Italian Villa in Fallbrook, California channeled pure romance and charm.

The Story

Michelle & Chad love story began amongst the shelves of bookstores. Two introspectives who cherished quiet moments spent reading, the only interruptions coming from the excited sharing of thoughtful passages. It was at a Barnes & Noble in Calabasas where Chad proposed to Michelle on their 6-year anniversary— fitting as it was the same setting where their relationship bloomed while they were undergraduates. With a hollowed out book stamped, “from the library of Mr. and Mrs. Taylor,” Chad showed Michelle he was ready for this next chapter.

The Wedding

For their wedding, Michelle chose an Essence of Australia gown featuring long sleeves and an illusion neckline. The floral lace detailing perfectly complemented her cascading bouquet, which featured a waterfall of colorful wildflowers. The floral design, brought to life by Hey Clementine Floral Design, was inspired by romantic wildflowers and vibrant pastels, and featured a palette of blush contrasted with whites, hues of baby blue and pops of bright yellow.

The groom and several members of the wedding party were outfitted with dark suites from Friar Tux, softened by pastel pink ties. Mismatched bridesmaid dresses were curated in a mix of pastel hues to complement the overall color scheme of the day.

As a couple, it was important to share all of the biggest moments of their day with their closest friends and family. Michelle opted to do a special first look with her attendants and mother-in-law, and for their first look as a couple, Michelle and Chad invited their parents and entire wedding party to watch and revel in the excitement from the platform above.

In a ceremony officiated by a close friend of the couple, Michelle & Chad chose to write and share personal vows. Guests flocked to the open-air Piazza Tivoli for the evening reception. The garden tablescapes consisted of small wildflower nests with accenting bud vases featuring stems at varying heights.
